John Adams High School






Built in 1927, this pre-war building enrolls upwards of 3000 students. In 2006, the SCA hired L+M to modernize the building. The work included a swimming pool upgrade that required:

- Removal and replacement of all tile finishes including waterproofing the pool

- Electrical upgrades, including new lighting fixtures

- ADA access to pool and bleachers

Other projects at John Adams were:

- The installation of ADA accessibility throughout the building upgrade of all bathrooms

- Renovation of the auditorium exterior restoration
